  • When you sign up for a 4-Week class, you can choose to sign up for the semester (all 4 sessions) or drop-in (per session).

    When you sign up for the Semester, you are enrolling in 4 weeks of class at once. If you purchase multiple Semester Classes, you will get a bulk discount!

    Drop-ins are enrolling in each session individually. Drop-ins cost more, because teachers spend additional time catching you up from missed sessions, but are convenient for crazy summer schedules! You are welcome to sign up either way.

    For most of our 4-week classes, we do not recommend signing up for just one drop-in, but we do offer them during the summer to accommodate busy summer schedules, if you need to miss a week and know it in advance!

  • Yes we do! If you purchase multiple classes or multiple workshops, you will get a discount! These discounts will automatically apply at checkout.

  • We provide all the materials for kids’ classes! If your child has a favorite set of supplies at home that they would like to bring, they are welcome to use those as well.

    If you are coming to a teen or an adult class, you will need to bring supplies. Check out the Class Resources page for links to recommended materials.

  • Yes! We are flexible about ages for classes. You know your child best! If your kid is enthusiastic, well-behaved, and wants to learn at a higher level in a teen or adult class, please just reach out to us!

  • Yes! Our senior discount applies to students who are 55 years or older. Just enter the code seniordiscount at checkout to get 10% off your order.

  • Yes! We keep our class sizes within a specific attendance range.

    Most classes have a minimum of 3 students and a maximum of 15 students, but capacity may vary depending on the class or workshop.

    Classes and workshops may get canceled if the minimum number of students do not sign up two days prior to class.

    These requirements are in place to make sure that classes feel comfortable and are a good learning experience for you or your child.

  • Yes we do! Just sign yourself or your child up for the class and you will be added to the waitlist. If someone is not able to attend, we will let you know!

    You will not be billed for the class until you are officially on the roster.

Class Questions

Maker’s Space

  • For $15, you will get all the materials for one paper project, instructor feedback and most media. 

    You can purchase canvas, wood panels, or more fine art paper for an additional cost, or you can choose to bring your own substrate!

  • Age 6+ can be dropped off.

    Children younger than 6 need to have an adult with them. If the adult would like to complete a project as well, please sign up for both of you!

  • Please sign up before you come in! This will help us make sure our teacher is there to teach you, and make sure they have the correct amount of materials.

Our Studio

  • Our address is 1100 Frank H St, Ste 7, Waunakee, WI 53597.

  • There is a large parking lot out front that you will be able to park in. Keep in mind that the parking lot may get more full in the evenings, we are located next to a popular Martial Arts studio!

  • We do offer private lessons! Please reach out to us at academy@lyonroadart.com to see schedules and pricing. Private lesson availability depends on teachers’ schedules.

  • We are sorry you aren’t able to make it! To make up the missed session, you are welcome to come to Maker’s Space! Our teacher will walk you through what you missed in class and be around to answer any questions.

  • Yes! If there is space in a different class, we can easily switch you over.

  • Yes! You can cancel your reservation as late as two days before class starts to get a full refund. Please see our Policies page for more information.
